If you have been checking out tattoos even for a short amount of time, chances are you have seen a star tattoo at some point or another. The star tattoo has recently gained an amazing amount of popularity thanks to its simplistic design and the fact that you can make it as big or as small as you want without losing any detail whatsoever. So why would resizing it be a real positive? Say you are still living at home and you want to get a tattoo but your parents do not approve. There is no better way to hide a tattoo from their watchful eye than by getting a small tattoo somewhere where they cannot possibly see it. However, with so many different tattoo designs out there, it can be a tough decision to choose the right one for yourself.

Without a doubt, one of the most popular star tattoo designs is the vector star look. These stars are shaped like a traditional five pointed star and can be either all one color or simply be represented as an outline. These types of star tattoos are perfect as a part of a larger scene or are even great if you just want a star all by itself somewhere on your body. As far as tattoos go, the vector star tattoo is probably one of the cheapest tattoos that you can get, and can be drawn by just about any decent tattoo artist.

Another popular star tattoo design is the six pointed star. You do not have to be Jewish to enjoy the simple symmetry of a six pointed star tattoo on your body. As with the vector five pointed star, you will find that a six pointed star can go with just about any scene you create if that is the tattoo look that you are going for. More often than not, you will see a six pointed star tattoo that is fully colored in, although there have been a few sightings of six pointed stars that only consist of an outline.
